Description
The project is an interactive game in which users throw axes at a target projected on a wall. The unique feature of the project was that the accuracy of the axe hitting the target had to be tracked using a laser range finder (Lidar). A special library was developed to integrate lidar into the project. The goal of the project was to: Create a quality specification. Prototyping of the project. Developing a clean design and animations. Programming and testing of the project. Delivery of the finished project to the client. During the development process, the artist created 18 free avatars available to registered users. In addition, 10 premium avatars were implemented, allowing users to customize their profile. To further customize the profile, elements in the form of frames were added. To make the user stand out from other players as much as possible, 5 animated avatars and frames were created and animated. A mobile app was developed that allowed users to log in to the attraction and save their statistics. Users were also able to get achievements and customize elements such as avatar, frames and various animations. An administration page was created to manage all types of users and monetize the product through subscriptions. For comfortable gameplay, a projector was used to project the entire interface and the objective. Lidar was used to accurately and quickly determine the location of the axe hit. This allowed for high tracking accuracy in real time and easy gameplay. The result is an interactive game platform with accurate tracking of axe hits on the target and various options to customize the user profile.
Challenge
Lidar Integration: Integrating lidar technology to accurately track axe strikes presented a technical challenge.
